Woman Charged With Break In At Simon Cowell's Home
According to reports, a 29-year old woman called Leanne Zaloumis has been charged with aggravated burglary. She broke into the entertainment mogul Cowell's west London home on Saturday night, after Britain's got Talent lit up our screens for the first time. Max Clifford appeared on 'This Morning', said he'd spoken to Simon, and that he was okay, albeit, very shaken up!
Cowell is said to have been watching the Jonathan Ross show, on which he appeared at the time of the break in. He heard a massive crash coming from the upstairs of the home, and walked into his bathroom to find a lady in there with a brick in her hand, having smashed the window. Cowell told Max Clifford that he was simply glad that she was only holding a brick, and was a fan, she could have very easily been holding a gun or a knife.
Luckily for Cowell, he has live in staff, and the housekeeper was still up, who immediately informed his security team who were close by. They arrived shortly followed by the police. The woman is due to appear in a London Court this coming Monday.
