Cowell's Amazing New Girl Band To Top One Directions US Success

X Factor boss Simon Cowell has said he wants to create a female version of One Direction!

Following the group’s worldwide success, including a historic number one debut album in the States, Simon is now hoping to recreate the success with girls!

With Little Mix having broken the girl group curse by winning last year’s show, it seems like the perfect place to start.

Simon said this week that he expected it to be a “very exciting year for pop music.”

One Direction topped the American Billboard charts on Wednesday with their record Up All Night, selling around 170,000 copies in a week to keep Adele from the top spot.

“We’ve been missing this kind of pop boom for a while, and I think this is going to be the beginning of a wave,” Simon told Access Hollywood.

And the music mogul encouraged more groups to audition for the show this year, with try outs continuing in Wales on Monday.

So America, here is a first look at the girls who will be rocking your world in 2013;
